Blue Sky Scrubs has great deals going on and their scrubs are not like those uncomfortable ugly and unflattering scrubs we all hate. As someone who had the misfortune of wearing scrubs, there is nothing worse for a woman. Nothing more frumpy and unfeminine. But finally they get a clue and companies began to emerge with nice looking scrubs. Slightly fashionable even.
If you are in the medical profession…or work in a medical office and need to use scrubs as your uniform.

After receiving and reviewing some of the OLA LOA line of powder vitamins, I must say that I’m a fan. They taste great. I drank my vitamins! I’m not a pill person and I do know the value of taking vitamins and getting my minerals daily. It’s very difficult when you don’t like to swallow huge nasty smelling pills. I tend to “forget” to do things that are no pleasant.
While I never forgot my great tasting Flintstones Vitamins, the ingredients were not great. Things like: FD&C Red #40 Aluminum Lake, FD&C Yellow #6, and so on. Not too natural and definitely not non-toxic.
OLA LOA is thankfully different, they taste great but are flavored and colored using better ingredients: Stevia, Beet Juice Powder (color), Organic Cane Juice, Annato and Tumeric (color), and so on. Some have Fructose, but I see no fake dyes and the samples I received are all Gluten and Lactose Free.
Here is also some information from OLA LOA:
- Ola Loa was specifically designed to provide enough B-vitamins, amino acids, Viamin C and minerals to support stage 1 and 2 detoxification. (for more information on stage 1 and 2 detoxiication see their website http://www.drinkyourvitamins.com)
- Ola Loa contains the osmolytes, TMG and Glycine, which studies show are more powerful than electrolytes in maintaining total body hydration.
- Ola Loa has 1000 mg. vitamin C which is essential to neutralize free radicals.

Recently the folks over at Nutra-Lift sent me some products to review. I’ve had some time now to use them and here are my reviews of each!
I’ll start with my FAVORITE product. Their Gently Stimulating, Moisturizing Grape Seed Foaming Face Polish…with intense anti-oxidant power of the renown Muscasdine Grape Seeds and Skins in organic honey base. Just wow! Used it a few minutes ago and my skin is soft and smooth. One of the best exfoliators I’ve ever used. I’m extremely please with it and so much so that I will now need to continue to buy it. I’m a little afraid that the company still being on the smaller side could still die out so please if you need a scrub help them and mostly me out and buy their face polish!!!! ::Rubs lovely soft skin on face again:: I love it!
Up next their Healthy Hair Healthy SCALP Shampoo that Rejuvenates Scalp & Hair with Liposomes, Pure Plant Extracts, Vitamins & Proteins for Thicker Fuller Hair. Good clean smell and doesn’t strip you hair of all your natural oils like most shampoos do. I would say it’s awesome for everyone with fine, normal, or thinning hair. I need a dandruff shampoo myself, so I couldn’t use it alone. I also have thick hair, so I don’t really need any fullness. But it cleans well and feels nice. Not too foamy and overly drying either.
Daily Moisture Hair Conditioner Good For All Hair Types for Thicker Fuller Healthy Silky Hair. Great ingredients a real great product. Perfect for fine, normal, oily, or thinning hair. Unfortunately my hair is very dry and thick so I needed to also use an intensive conditioner after. But the smell is not too strong and the conditioner is great. I’m sending it and the shampoo to my mother who has the perfect hair for it.
One Step Body Scrub – Cleanses, Moisturizes, Exfoliates and Nourishes. Another great wonderful product. Nice smell, works wonderfully and nothing but smooth soft skin afterwards. Great natural ingredients. I’m a fan. It has organic aloe & over 12 herbs, vitamins C and E plus 14 anti-oxidants. Good stuff! Give it a try!
80% Organic White Chocolate Body Butter with vitamin C Ester, Vitamin B5, DMAE, Alpha Lipoic Acid & Intense moisturizers. First off world class ingredient list if I say so myself. Real chocolate smell that will have you wanting to eat it up. Great texture and great results. I’m not a fan of products that smell like food or like anything at all, but you can’t deny it works. A lot of guys loved the smell but then they rub up on you trying to smell you which can be uncomfortable lol! If you or anyone you know wants soft skin with anti-aging results from their moisturizer AND loves to smell like chocolate. We found a winner!
Soluble Collagen & Elastin Collagen Reneu for extra facial firming with organic anti-oxidants. First I love the pump! I hate when creams are in a jar. I always lose product in my nails, it’s not sanitary and I find it more of a mess than anything else. This is super fast, just one pump and you are good to go! Even my lazy self can do it daily. Smells nice and soft. Skin feels good and it’s packed with great and organic ingredients. It’s a winner to me.
Fresh New Skin Night Repair Fluid with 80% Certified Organic Extracts Plus L-Carnitine & White Tea. Great ingredients again and that quick and easy pump! The smell isn’t bad, but it is noticeable enough that my husband asks what the smell is when I put it on. He doesn’t hate it and demand I take it off like Philosophy’s night cream. It really has a powerhouse of ingredients in it that I think it’s worth a shot. So I’m going to recommend you at least try if if you want something mostly organic with great ingredients.
I have a few more of their products left to try, including their moisturizing shampoo and condition (sounds more like what I need) so I’ll post again after I’ve reviewed all of them!
Until then I’m giving away one of their foundations here! Enter now! Ends Oct 15, 2010. Seriously no one has entered if you do, you’ll likely win it lol. I am using the foundation in my color and it’s really nice and you can trust the ingredients which is more than you can probably say about your foundation now. Natural, Organic and also a facial treatment in one!
