I was looking through the extensive collection of pink ceiling fans at become.com. It really is extraordinary the selection. There are some that look like flowers spinning overhead. Ever shade of pink you could imagine. My favorite is the 52″ Craftmade Bloom Pink and Green Ceiling Fan with Light. So pretty! Wouldn’t it look just lovely in a little girl’s room. Of mine, for that matter.
No matter if you want a hot pink ceiling fan or a pink ceiling fan, they have so many to choose from.
They also have a lot of clothing. I love their selection of Michael Kors leather jackets. Check them out for a great price. I’ve even seen one for only $96, but that must be a sale or something.

Back when I was looking for apts I found this site called RentCalgary.com. It was pretty easy to use and packed with rentals. Visitors to RentCalgary.com are people looking to rent a home in Calgary, Alberta. So for you Canadians, this is a great resource.
I’m not sure how the rental market is in Canada right now, but here it’s cut throat. You have to find an apt and put your deposit asap or you lose it. The more sites you use to find a good place the better your chances are of find a good place and before anyone else. So check it out and good luck.

Blue Sky Scrubs has great deals going on and their scrubs are not like those uncomfortable ugly and unflattering scrubs we all hate. As someone who had the misfortune of wearing scrubs, there is nothing worse for a woman. Nothing more frumpy and unfeminine. But finally they get a clue and companies began to emerge with nice looking scrubs. Slightly fashionable even.
If you are in the medical profession…or work in a medical office and need to use scrubs as your uniform.

Taking teenagers on vacation can be really tough. But one of the things that I’ve learned is to switch up each vacation and give them things to do to keep them occupied. Of course teenagers like to complain, but it’s harder for them to complain when they’re busy. I got the great idea to take my family on a great mini vacation to New York City because it’s constantly going and going so they wouldn’t have hardly any time to complain!
I looked online to get some help in planning the trip and while I was doing that I ran across the site hearingaids.miracle-ear.com. After I looked through it some, I decided to get fitted with some hearing aids, the better to take in my teenagers’ complaints.
I decided to take them to the Jersey Boys show on Broadway. They’re both obsessed with music, so it ended up being the perfect thing to take them to see. Plus, my husband and I recognized a lot of the music and had fun singling along to it.

Yesterday I had to call our power company for the third time about a mistake on our bill. Each time I have called, they have been very rude to me and question my ability to read my bill. I had the last straw yesterday and told them I would be switching providers. Luckily I have a friend who suggested for me to go to energy rates in rice houston to find the most affordable energy provider. I think that customer service is the most important part of a company. Keeping customers satisfied is the key to maintaining trust and happiness among clients. When customers are satisfied, they tell others about the company they use, which generates more business for the company. When this power company’s employee was rude to me, I decided that I would be doing the opposite of earning that company more business. In fact, I decided that I would tell as many people as possible about the rudeness of the employees at that company and suggest that no one use them as an energy provider. Hopefully I will not have that experience again.

I am currently in Asia now traveling! Looking for non toxic products and cosmetics is a huge challenge when you don’t speak or read the language. I must say that being in a foreign country so long is taking it’s toll on my body. I’m gaining weight even though I walk a lot and use the exercise room often. Not trusting certain foods unless they are well cooked is the main reason. That and not being able to choose anything to eat unless it’s at a fast food joint with some English or on a picture. Hope to detox first thing after returning!
Good night from Taichung, Taiwan!

After receiving and reviewing some of the OLA LOA line of powder vitamins, I must say that I’m a fan. They taste great. I drank my vitamins! I’m not a pill person and I do know the value of taking vitamins and getting my minerals daily. It’s very difficult when you don’t like to swallow huge nasty smelling pills. I tend to “forget” to do things that are no pleasant.
While I never forgot my great tasting Flintstones Vitamins, the ingredients were not great. Things like: FD&C Red #40 Aluminum Lake, FD&C Yellow #6, and so on. Not too natural and definitely not non-toxic.
OLA LOA is thankfully different, they taste great but are flavored and colored using better ingredients: Stevia, Beet Juice Powder (color), Organic Cane Juice, Annato and Tumeric (color), and so on. Some have Fructose, but I see no fake dyes and the samples I received are all Gluten and Lactose Free.
Here is also some information from OLA LOA:
- Ola Loa was specifically designed to provide enough B-vitamins, amino acids, Viamin C and minerals to support stage 1 and 2 detoxification. (for more information on stage 1 and 2 detoxiication see their website http://www.drinkyourvitamins.com)
- Ola Loa contains the osmolytes, TMG and Glycine, which studies show are more powerful than electrolytes in maintaining total body hydration.
- Ola Loa has 1000 mg. vitamin C which is essential to neutralize free radicals.
